Kids Program on Sundays
What's happening there?
The kids and two volunteers will spend time together listening to stories fro and about the Bible, do crafts, sing songs, and play games. Out goal is to make Sunday morning the best part of the children's week, not to spoil them, but to show them that God loves them, deeply.
How can my child be part of this?
The kids will join us for musical worship and then will be dismissed before the sermon to go downstairs to the office or multipurpose room with two volunteers for activities. They will be staying there for the whole program which includes games, stories, and crafts.
This also involves a formal sign-in and sign-out process (break-out groups should end around 12:30 p.m.). To help respect our volunteers time, we ask that parents and guardians promptly sign-out their child before socializing after church.
Plan to Protect
As we value the safety of every child, we have put in the work to put together policies and guidelines for everyone working with kids and other vulnerable persons in cooperation with Plan to Protect. Our leadership team is eager to make sure that these policies are lived out and every volunteer is called to adhere to these guidelines.
